Spring Term 1!

Maths - We are looking at a variety of topics, including geometry/shape, where we will be delving into angles. We are also continuing with multiplication and division, where we will put our times table knowledge into more formal written methods. 

Writing - After finishing off our non-chronological report on our made-up planets, we have the exciting challenge of a recount in a letter format. Then followed by our first fiction narrative, where we will focus on using deep enriching vocabulary to describe a magical setting. 

Reading - We continue our work through smaller texts, both fiction and non-fiction. These include texts on how volcanoes and rivers are formed and Michael Rosen's poetry.

DT - Textiles with spooky moonlight wall hangings that incorporate sewing techniques. 

 Art - Monochromatic drawing.
